Ubud is the cultural centre of Bali. We stayed here for a couple of days, and in those days we did a lot of things. We went to the monkey forest, which is a big forest where monkeys run free. This was so cool! All of the monkeys climb on the visitors, especially when they think you have a banana. I bought a lot of bananas to feed the monkeys. In the beginning I was so scared when the monkeys jumped on me, but that feeling went away very quick. After that we did everything we could to get their attention. I really love animals, and this was such a cool experience. Another thing we did in Ubud was going to an elephant park. I had a bit of double feelings here. I loved touching and hugging the elephants, but still feel like they don’t belong in this kind of parks, they should be in the wild.. Another very cool thing you should go to while visiting Ubud is the Tegalalang Rice Terrace. This is absolutely a must! We went here very early, so we could see the sun come up, but unfortunately it was a very cloudy morning. Nonetheless it was an amazing view like you can see in the pictures. The same day we visited some impressive temples.
