Seminyak was our last detination in Bali, before we went back the the Netherlands. I liked Seminyak a lot. There are so many beach clubs there, which we all checked out. Our favorites are Potato head and Ku de Ta. These beachclubs are the best combination of relaxing and partying. We also learned how to surf here (not really). We tried and failed miserably. We took one lesson but this wasn’t a successs, haha. At least the pics are cool:). It’s definitely on my bucketlist to learn surfing one day. Seminyak is also the place where you can find hundreds of beanbags on the beach, see photos! This was so cozy. We ate here almost every night we were in Seminyak while watching the sunset, perfect setting!

Kuta

Let me start this blogpost by saying Kuta wasn’t our favorite place in Bali. It was so so so crowdy. Especially at night it was a mess in Kuta, there were drunk tourists vomiting on every single street. We already read this everywhere on the internet, but wanted to look for ourselves. Despite this, we had some good days in Kuta. One of my favorite activity here was releasing baby sea turtles in the sea. I LOVED this! They are so cute, look at the pics! The other favorite activity was Water Bom Bali, which is the biggest waterpark of Asia, this was so much fun. I don’t have pictures from this waterpark, since we we’re too busy playing all day, haha. We’ve also been to a bird and reptile park, which was very cool.

Uluwatu and Jimbaran – Beachin’

We’ve spent 6 days in Uluwatu and Jimbaran, we didn’t really had to take 2 different hotels as they were only a 10 minute’s drive from each other. Anyways, we loved these places. We went to a lot of different beaches – Dreamland beach, Padang padang beach, Suluban beach, Pandawa Beach and Bingin beach. Our favorite beach is Pandawa beach, I mean look at the water! The water wasn’t very clear, but it has such a pretty blue color, I like that! I didn’t make pictures on the other beaches unfortunatly. Another thing I would recommend if you are planning to go to Uluwatu, is Single Fin! This is a beach club. They have the best music, food and view! Also, you have to try the Nalu Bowls they are delicious!! Another fun thing was witnessing a typical Balinese performance, at the Uluwatu temple.

Nusa Lembongan – Carefree, barefoot, beachfront living

Nusa Lembongan is a small island underneath Bali. We went here with a boat from Sanur. Just like the gili’s , this island is such a paradise. Look at the water! 50 shades of blue.. Seeing this pictures really makes me wanna go back ASAP. In Nusa Lembongan we made a couple of our favorite Bali memories, but also our worse memory: we had the biggest spider ever in our room. The spider was literally the size of my hand. Of course we were both freaked out. We screamed so hard, someone from the resort came to our cottages, to ask what was going on, haha. Luckily he removed the spider very fast, but we didn’t feel save at all the next couple of days we stayed there. Besides that, everything was perfect. We hired a scooter and drove to every single beach and pretty spot. We also went to Nusa Ceningan, the little island that is connected by a bridge. This place is also incredible.

Padang Bai – Looking for the hidden beaches

Padang Bai is a small fishing village, and the place from where boats leave and arrive. We decided to stay one night in Padang Bai to visit the two hidden beaches: White Sand Beach aka Bias Tegul and Blue lagoon beach, both very pretty. I liked blue lagoon beach better, because I could swim there. White Sand Beach had the biggest and most rogue waves I have seen in Bali. I think Justin had the time of his life here, haha, but I was too scared to go in the water.
